Useful programs for cell phones

These are just a few little programs that I (with a little help too) have worked on recently. I hope that you find them useful too.

• Weathermessage - a perl script to retrieve weather information from the web and send it to a cellphone as an MMS message
• SmsMail - a perl script to replace mailscript. Will retreive e-mail from any POP3 server and forward the From: and Subject: lines to a cell phone via a web to SMS gateway.
• Mailscript - a program to send a notice of incoming e-mail to a cell phone via a web to SMS gateway. This isn't as good as the SmsMail program, but it works.
• vCard - a perl script to send business cards to a nokia cell phone with smart messaging.
• vCal - a perl script to send calendar items to a nokia cell phone with smart messaging.
